The Music of Michael Easton ARAM

British composer Michael Easton was born in 1954 and studied at the Royal Academy of Music. He has since become internationaly renowned as a composer for the concert hall, opera and for film and tv. His music has received extensive reviews and he has received numerous nominations for his film music. His NAXOS CD became an international best seller. This concert commemorates his elevation to an ARAM and features Michael's friends including the brilliant young German conductor Erich Fackert, Gramophone award winning pianist Len Vorster, the much decorated tenor Ian Partridge and sopranos Sonya Prentice and Ginette Van Der Voorn. Additional elan is provided by American actor and singer Pamela Shaw.
